
We tried newcomer Essencia in Hayes valley last night. Now we love Mochica and it is really hard to beat out Mochica but I think Essencia has done it! The service was execellent and the food amazing. They use Pecans in their aji de gajina, the artichoke, chanterelle and quinoa risotto is amazing and wines were excellent. This may be a new favorite in Hayes Valley.
