Last night we attended a fundraiser for Spark at City Hall. We enjoyed sampling many wines but one stuck out, 2005 El Llano Red Wine from Mi Sueno. The winery was founded by a Mexican immigrant who worked his way up and self funded the winery. Really good wine and a great story to go with it.
We also really enjoyed the 2005 Pinot Noir Gary's Vineyard from Miner in addition to wines from Frank Family vineyards, Blackbird and of course Merryvale.
