We took Kelly's parents to Cafe Mums to sample a little shabu shabu. Shabu Shabu is basically meat fondue. Cafe Mums have several options for enjoying shabu shabu. You can get a single serving of meat and veggies, have all you can eat meat and veggies or you can opt for the all you can eat and drink (beer). This was lunch, so we just took the single serving.
Shabu shabu is a fun, but messy adventure. It is exceptionally hard to get the noodles out of the boiling broth, but worth it when you do. Cafe Mums is more about the fun of cooking your own, than super high quality food.
