First Year Wedding Anniversary

So one year has come and gone. We have had a great first year with lots of memories including Vietnam, Hong Kong, Outstanding in the Field, leg surgery, and a new dog. To celebrate, we went to Fleur De Lys, an old San Francisco restaurant which is still one of the finest in the city. Fleur De Lys has 3, 4, and 5 course options. We opted for the 3 course, and it turned out to be the best decision as it still was a ton of food. We started off with two amuse bouche including this lovely cauliflower cream dish. Very good. Even Jose liked it.

We each took different first coarses. To start, Kelly had the tasting of Alsatian Choucoute and Jose had the Symphony of smoked salmon, foie gras, and duck. Both were amazing.

For the main, Jose had the Fillet mignon with lobster. Kelly chose the Boneless Quail stuffed with Ris de Veau

Finally, we both had fabulous desserts. Jose had the Grand Marnier souffle and Kelly had the FleurBurger. The Fleur Burger is basically a fine dessert made to look like a burger and fries.
