The Agyares Visit SF

The Agyares - Micaela, Kwame, Bridget, and Alisa - visited us in San Francisco. It was a great chance to get to see some of the city sites through the eyes of children and places we often pass over with our other visitors. Bridget has the book "This is San Francisco" so she had done her research and new what she wanted to see. There was a lot on the agenda during their visit. We started with Lombard Street and Coit Tower. That night we also took in a Giant's baseball game. The giants were terrible, but it was still quite a bit of fun.

The next morning brought a trip to Alcatraz. We took the early ferry over to the island. As always it was quite breezy on the boat. The Rock itself was a blend of boiling and freezing depending on where you were standing. That trip turned out to be most of our days events. The adults went home and put back a bottle of Rose and more and all took a nap preparing for a big dinner with cousin Steve and Lynda. That night we out to dinner at LuLus. Overall a lovely meal. The girls really liked it and played around a bit. They provided some great photos.

Finally we spent time checking out the GG Bridge and GG Park. We visited the Buffalo and Stowe lake where were rented paddle boats. We look forward to the Agyare's next visit.
