Oakland Greek Festival

We ventured across the bridge to the Greek Festival this past Saturday where we ate and drank and enjoyed the beautiful weather and unbelievable views. The Greek Church is up on a hill in the Oakland hills. It really did feel like Greece that day as the sun was shining, it was hot, and there was lots of great food. We ate a selection of food. We started with Some cheese on pita bread with lots of olive oil and lemon juice. Very good. I forget the name. Then we had the traditional Gyro. Outstanding. Finally, we had some fried calamari. All very good. The event included traditional music and dancing. We really recommend this for you all next year.
